Bircherley Green plans delayed a further month

Wednesday 15 May 2019

A decision on changes to plans for Bircherley Green have been put back a month following further amendments submitted by developer Wrenbridge.

It was expected that this month's Development Control Committee would  make a decision at their meeting on 22nd May, but the plans are not included in the agenda.

Wrenbridge submitted a revised planning application in October last year and were hopeful that permission would be granted by April. However, due to local elections there was no Development Control Committee meeting in April and the next meeting was scheduled for 22nd May. However, the application does not feature on the agenda for the May meeting.

Since submitting their revised planning application in November 2018, Wrenbridge added further amendments in March this year.

The revised plans reduce the number of residential properties by 14 as well as a small decrease in retail space.  This allows 1470sqm of new office space to be included in the plan.

The following month's Development Control Committee meeting takes place on Thursday 19th June.
