Hertford Bus station will be partially closed for up to three weeks to allow works related to the redevelopment of Bircherley Green.
Part of the bus station was fenced off by contractors on Friday and excavation work began at the start of the week.
A notice displayed by Intalink warns that Stops 1 & 2 could be closed for up to three weeks with the Arriva 310 service relocated to a temporary stop outside Bircherley Court.
The closed off area includes the electronic passenger information point.
The waiting room and toilets have been boarded up since 2020 after Chase New Homes took over the site before building work started on the redevelopment.
The redevelopment will see the current car park refurbished and new materials applied to the outside to improve the appearance of the building.
