A popular street food market makes a return to the town later this week.
Relaunching on Thursday 31st March, Salisbury Square will host seven street food stalls on the last Thursday of the month until September.
From Caribbean jerk to Mediterranean paella, the market features flavours from across the globe and produce and ingredients to suit all tastes, including vegan and vegetarian options.
Funded by the Hertfordshire Health Protection Board, and supported by Hertfordshire Better Business for All, the event helps encourage footfall into the town centre as businesses recover from the impact of the pandemic.
Jan Goodeve, Executive Member for Planning and Growth at East Herts Council, said: "This is a great opportunity to sample dishes from all over the world, whether it’s a quick bite, sweet treat or after work dinner with colleagues and friends.
"Events like this create an exciting buzz in the town centre, support people to shop local and help our community socialise and come together."
Stalls open at 4pm and close around 8pm.
