A man with a history of absconding is being sought by police after failing to return to prison.
Michael Cakebread, aged 33, whose last known address was Oak Tree Close in Hertford Heath, is wanted on recall to prison, as well as for theft offences.
He is known to frequent Hertford, Bishops Stortford and the surrounding areas.
Mr.Cakebread has served a number of prison sentences for crimes including shoplifting, vehicle theft, driving offences, public order offences, possession of an offensive weapon and breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order.
Cakebread has a history of absconding, failing to report to police or return to prison.
Anyone who knows of the whereabout of Mr.Cakebread should contact police.
