Kingsmead Neighbourhood Plan consultation

A public consultation is being held on draft policies to be included in the Kingsmead Neighbourhood Plan, with leafkets beng delivered to local residents from 27th May.

As well as an online survey, members of the public will be able to meet volunteers helping to shape to the at two face-to-face consultations - outside the Pinehurst Community Centre on Thursday 27th May between 2:30 and 6:30pm, and in Rowleys Road on Sunday 29th May between 2pm and 5:30pm.

The Kingsmead Neighbourhood Plan is being driven by local residents and the town council to create policies for development, community facilities, business and employment opportunities, conservation and transport for the east of the town, including Ware Road and the Foxholes and Pinehurst areas of the town.

Plans for the Sele and Bengeo Wards of the town recently received public support in referendums held earlier in the month and will be adopted by the District Council.
