Wartime Drama Opens at Little Theatre

Thursday 7 June 2018

Terence Rattigan's WWII drama "Flare Path" opens at The Little Theatre in Balfour Street tomorrow, Friday 8th June, for an 8-night run.

Set against the backdrop of heartache and quiet bravery, "Flare Path" paints an evocative portrait of life in war time Britain for the RAF bomber crews and their wives and sweethearts waiting for their return.

The Company of Players have been staging productions in Hertford for over 50 years and is one of two local theatre companies operating in the town.

The Little Theatre was converted from a schoolhouse in the 1960s into a dedicated theatre seating 63. The awardwinning group put on five plays a year, each running for eight days.

Tickets for non-members are £13.50 and are available on The Company of Players' website, where you can also find out about past and future productions.
