Festival of Wildlife

Wednesday 24 July 2019

Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust are holding their annual festival at Panshanger Park this coming weekend.

The festival takes place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July from 10am to 4pm adjacent to Riverside Cottage.

The free family festival celebrates the rich diversity of wildlife in Hertfordshire and Middlesex and features walks, talks, family activities and conservation demonstrations. Visitors can also meet with local conservation groups, food producers, artists and craftsmen. There will also be an opportunity to meet the park's new longhorn cattle.

Other attractions include an arts and crafts marquee, the Lea Valley Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, Children's Discovery Area, Bird Watching and Bird Ringing; and tractor tours.

The entrance to the Festival of Widlife is via the Thieves Lane car park located just off the A414. There is a suggested donation of £2 per car on entry to the festival parking. Entry to the festival on foot or by bicycle is free!
