Bengeo residents are being advised to secure their vehicles after a spate of attempted thefts from parked cars.

Between Thursday 14th and Saturday 16th March, offenders gained entry to six vehicles in Trinity Grove, The Drive, Byde Street, Duncombe Road and Wellington Street. Nothing was stolen and no vehicles were damaged. In two cases the vehicles were not locked.
Police are not linking the crimes at this stage.
Anyone with information about these offences is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary online at www.herts.police.uk/Report, or call the non-emergency number 101.
Police advice on vehicle security can be found on the Hertfordshire Constabulary website.
