More Hairdressers and Opticians

Belles and Shears in St.Andrews Street The number of hairdressers and opticians in the town is on the increase with the opening of three new shops.

The opening of Belles and Sheares in St.Andrews Street brings the number of hair stylists in Hertford to nine, and this figure excludes men's barbers.

Just around the corner in Old Cross, Designer Eyes opens it's doors shortly, aiming at the upmarket fashion-conscious customer, whilst in Bircherley Green, Specsavers are currently refitting a retail unit left vacant after the departure of a TV rental shop.

Other News

The Three Tuns public house in St.Andrews Street has been rebranded Thirsty Brandons and has a vibrant new lick of paint. The pub previous changed hands just two years ago.

Freedom Australia is a new travel consultant in The Marquee Shopping Centre specialising in travel down-under. The first floor retail unit was previously occupied briefly by a pound shop, which itself took over from a short-lived internet cafe.

A new shop named Scoff has opened in Parliament Square selling cornish pasties.
