A new specialist shop selling DVDs has opened in Bircherley Green shopping centre.

The small shop called DVD World is packed with with film and video game titles together with accessories. The premises were formerly occupied by a short-lived Fromagerie and is close to the bus station.

In Depth is a new scuba diving shop that has recently opened in Bull Plain between The Prince Regent pub and Hertford Cameras. The shop sells a wide variety of underwater equipment and is currently developing a website at www.indepth.net.

Monsoon are moving into Hertford. The upmarket clothes shop will take over the premises of Gravesons in the heart of the town. More soon.

A new sandwich shop named Upper Crust has opened in Warren Place close to Dominos Pizzas. The shop sells sandwiches, rolls, panini, jacket potatoes, cakes, buns and crisps, and is aimed at the lunchtime market.
