baby friendly shops and restaurants?
Does anyone know of any shops or restaurants in town which have good baby changing facilities? I was in Caffe Uno today and their facilities are up 3 flights of stairs, in a stair well, without a sink! This involves leaving your belongings at the bottom of the stairs, and carrying baby/change bag/ handbag up. There isn't anywhere to balance your bag so you have to do a sort of bend to the bag on the floor while keeping one hand on the baby to get a clean change of clothes. I then couldn't wash my hands which were covered in poo! Thank goodness for babywipes!

Cafe Rouge has a disabled toilet on the ground floor that has baby changing facilities.

Serendipity has good facilities albeit upstairs. Plenty of room and a packet of wipes.

Bull Plain Clinic used to offer babychange and breastfeeding facilities when my kids were babes (about 3 years ago).

Can still be used on a saturday, as there is still a clinic.

Veering off topic but be careful I had a letter telling me to take my child to county hospital for a development check but the clinic still runs at Bull Plain on a Saturday .... a long walk back into town.
