Stansted Airport Consultation
BAA Stansted are holding a series of public consultations in the area about their expansion plans. For some reason, Hertford is not a town they plan to visit, although Hoddesdon, Harlow and Ware are all on their itinery.
If you'd like to have your say why not visit Ware Priory on Tuesday 4th October between 10:00am and 8:00pm

I emailed Stansted Friday asking why Hertford as the county town was not included in their itinery. So far, no reply.

I suppose in terms of Location, Hertford and Ware are fairly close together so one consultation could serve both places.
Perhaps the facilities offered at Ware Priory were considered more suitable to a similar venue in Hertford.
Although having a consultation in Hertford and Ware might mean that if you miss one you could go to the other one.

What a sham. I've no doubt they will do whatever they can get away with regardless of what any of us think.
Most days it's already easier to count the number of seconds WITHOUT any aircraft noise rather than try to count the number of planes overflying Hertford. The roar of jets is more or less constant.
