I understand the Tesco in Jarmans Park, Hemel Hempstead has stopped it's 24 hour opening amid concerns for the safety of its staff. It will close at midnight. The quote I read was, "The company is fed-up with the yob culture which exists around the site and feels it can no longer justify asking staff to endure unpleasantness". While I sympathise I do wonder about the effect of 24 hour alcohol sales at the Tesco Hertford................and their neighbours.
