Italian Restaurant
Is there really no "proper" Italian Restaurant in Hertford other than cafe Un-edible and a couple of Pizza places? A gap in the mkt. surely?

On 2nd thought the pizza places don't count as proper.

Nope, none, nich, nada, nowt!
Lussmans does a few pasta dishes, thats about as close as you will get non chain wise. Afraid its a car journey to Ware or Stansted Abbots or Newgate Street if you are feeling flush.
Maybe the old right move will be one!!!

At least there's a flavour of Italy in the town. A decent non-chain would be great, though. Wouldn't mind seeing a decent Greek restaurant either. Then I don't think I would have any reason to go to Ware at all!!
