Author of a book who lives in Hertford
Hi Can anyone help? Either in the last edition of Axis magazine or the one before featured an article about a man who had written a fictional book who lives in Hertford. Apparently it is available to purchase from amazon and has been given good reviews. Does anyone know the author or the name of the book please?

I should say has written a book as its a new release. I think I remember it said he published it himself.

For anyone interested. I've received a reply from Axis magazine and the book is called Know Your Place and it's written by Hertford-based Andy Knaggs

Whilst on the subject of local authors, I would highly recommend reading "Wotcha" by Kev Saunders (available on Amazon). A great read and ex Richard Hale pupils may recognise who some of Kev's character influences may have come from!

I've read, and greatly enjoyed, both Mr.Saunder' and Mr.Knaggs' books. Both of which are published by M-Y Books of Hertford.

We've had a card through the door promoting a debut novel by a local author and available for download from Amazon. Looks quite promising and we feel inclined to support a local writer...
