Unit being refitted between Wickes and Matalan
I see the empty unit between wickes and matalan is being re-opened, any ideas what?
I guess too big for a Nandos? :)

Wasn't a dig at you Steve. Mrs Sloop had been told by a few people but from experience I have come to disregard a lot of what I hear. Especially since I no longer walk these mean streets as often as I used to; or read the hertford.net blog!

As Pets at Home sounds like it is a pretty nailed-on thing that is happening, I overheard the man in the burger van opposite the stores telling a group of builders that Halfords are looking at moving into an area next to Wickes (presume right hand side). No point in starting a thread until there is more concrete info. [8D]

Pets at Home is another classic example of a company whose biggest competitor is itself - the food purchased through their website for our dog is currently £35.39 delivered. Price in-store is c.£50.
No brainer.
