Are you LOCAL ?!?
Yay !!!
Whilst driving down the hill from Maccy D's / BP roundabout into Hertford I noticed they've put up the small sign sign saying "LOCAL shop this way -->"
They had that up a while back til it got removed, now they've put it up again. I'm so happy it's back up so that LOCAL people can visit the LOCAL shop to buy LOCAL precious things !!
Don't touch the PRECIOUS things.
So... are you LOCAL ? ... are there any other LOCAL shop signs up and about in Herts.... let us know !!

Those "Local Shops" signs always make me laugh - there's one at the top of Sele Farm and another in Bengeo.
By definition everything is indeed local [:D]
I think it was Paul Merton who once said "I don't care where I live but it's got to be local".

But are they all Local Shops for Local People?
Not many "precious" things in the Sele Farm Co-Op

"He tried to lift my skirt Edward, tell him I'm too oooold to have children !!"
"Don't worry Tubbs... he's not LOCAL, he doesn't understand our LOCAL ways and customs.... I won't let him get away *draws out crossbow*.... "
Anyway, technically, everywhere is local really.... locality is more in relation to your perspective of consciousness than any particular location. Paul Merton is right, ANYWHERE becomes local from the perspective of the person being there. If I went to South Africa, the 'local shop' would no longer be local to me.
So ummm.... that kinda sums that up.
Now - does anyone know any real League of Gents lookalikes in Hertford ? [:D]
