Cafe Yum in Old Cross
I saw that an application has been submitted to the council to re-fit Cafe Yum. A company called Galos ....portugese chicken?

I'm not convinced they're the same business. The signage in the planning application is different.

The company making the planning application is registered in St.Neots, although this may well be an accountant's address. The directors have a Hertford address. The website you've mentioned is for an establishment in Reading with a domain registered to someone in London NW10.

I peered through the "See what's coming" peephole on the shop window and there was a small picture of a gorilla inside. No chickens visible. If it's a gorilla could this be the rumoured Jungle Bar?

I stand corrected, I see now the Jungle Bar is elsewhere as detailed in the Jungle Bar thread... Still - what does a gorilla have to do with chickens?

Just received a flier from Galos, looks like it's opening soon - as predicted, rotisserie chicken and other meditteranean style foods, and they deliver!
