A fortnight ago a couple of bicycles were stolen from Newland Gardens. Quite an audacious heist by all accounts given that it was at 2.30pm on a saturday; the perpetrator had to get through security gates in full view of the CCTV, and then proceeded to the bike store where lock cutters were used, and a pin entered on the keypad as well. Fortunate that my bicycle was not stolen, although looking at the state of it I can understand why.
