No Progress
In the 18 months since the last cinema plan was pulled, there appears to have been no progress with regards to the future of the Mill Road site. Is someone dragging their feet?

I expect there are larger plans afoot.
Just look at all that space in the old railway yard, and the space at the beginning of Mead Lane on the left. Empty space equals development.
Maybe a new super duper housing estate will turn up.

Not another housing estate. Can't the council be more adventurous than that?

Sorry to drag this up, but its only really to bury it permanently. The council is useless considering that they are expected to actually improve this town & take note of most of its requirements. Am i right in thinking that no cinema will ever be built? They never should've knocked down the last one i suppose. (isn't hindsight a wonderful thing?)
