Vans and scooters at Waterford Heath?
Just being nosey but..
Walking alongside Sacombe Road (between Vicarage Lane and Bullsmill Lane) on Sunday (about Noon) there was a proliferation of transit type vans and youths on scooters being "attended to" by a couple of police officers in a van.
Anyone got any idea what was occurring?

I assume either somewhat had complained or the police had been on the look out for people riding trail bikes on either Waterford Heath or Rickneys Quarry. This has been a problem on and off for several years in this area.

Aha - that explains it then. they were on the Rickneys Quarry side but parked along by the heath (where the footpath runs alongside Sacombe Road (and the smart new fencing)).

Sounds like the problems they used to have up at Sele, I think it's the noise that is the biggest problem.
