See the old Betting shop opposite Barclays is being refurbed...any one any ideas whats going in there?

I saw there was some work taking place on this shop yesterday - fingers crossed it's something interesting. The Oak Room, The Creative Sanctuary, Emma H Lingerie have all been fantastic additions to this part of town over the past year or so.

It may be premature to assume anything's going in there. It could just be the landlord tarting it up and making it more presentable (the owners of The Marquee could take a tip here). That said, I hope I'm wrong and it's been let.

The same was done at the old Hertfordshire Graphics shop on St Andrew Street. A redcoration to help the let.

Happily, it looks like I was wrong and the unit has been let. They were moving stock in when I went past earlier. Looks like a pet supplies shop. I saw a couple of [url="http://www.chapelwoodwildlife.co.uk/"]Chapel Wood[/url] sales displays hanging around.

We looked through the window yesterday. All we could see were two staff were hanging up many different sized bird feeders. There seems to be large (bulk scoop type) containers Marked 'Wren care' & 'Robin care' Everything seems to be wild bird related. It can't be a wild bird care only shop can it?

Spent some time and money in the Wild Bird Cafe last week. The products are great and I am very happy with the replacement bird table that I bought however.... I think that the location of a shop of this nature is totally wrong, I would guess that their best-selling products are the bulky and heavy bags of bird-food which means either lugging your purchase back to the car in one of the main car-parks or buying your stuff and coming back with the car, double-parking and grabbing your stuff. Can't see it succeeding in the long run sadly.
