We went to Matalan yesterday, the smell hanging around the car park was very ripe, like cow sheds!

Yep - it was pretty ripe up in Bengeo too. Smelt more porcine than bovine to me but had to tell when it's fully matured.

I didn't notice it in Bengeo so much, think my nose must give up at altitude [:D]

Same down our way. I was rodding drains and still all I could smell was the muck that was spread somewhere else in hertford.
