Lost radio controlled plane
Had a note pushed through my door at 7:30 this morning. A young lad was delivering notices saying that he has lost the radio controlled plane that he got for his tenth birthday. It will only work with his remote control. If you see it please contact me.

Wingcomm I wish the lad good luck in finding his plane. I don't want to sound too prudish but if that is the boy's number then its not a good idea to advertise a ten year old boys phone number on the internet; maybe people could get in touch with you and then you could forward the relevant details?

I'd imagine that the phone number is his parent's home number.....

Hi, I'm his Dad, and want to thank Wincomm for taking the time to post about my son's plane.
I'm pleased to say another kind person rang us last night to say they had found it. It had flown/blown all the way from the Balls Park area to the Ware Road! Lucky it's mainly made of foam.
Having lived most of my life in Hertford I already knew what a good community we have, but the people we meet while out looking yesterday emphasised that. For example several people in companies in Caxton Hill had a look around for us and one lady asked us to let her know when he finds it as he was so devastated to fly it for one weekend then see the freak gust whip it over the trees. More careful next time...
