Recognise this place?

I just happened across this site while searching for some details of an estate that I'm working on in Berkshire and had to take a look at the Hertford entries. I really don't know what to make of the first piece; it contains plenty of stereotypes and generalisations - all I can say is that AgentProvocateur (haven't we come across that name before?)needs to find another chip to give some balance to his life!
Having said that Hertford is changing but having spent a few weeks around Berkshire estates I know where I'd rather be! The estate(s) that AP is referring to are nowhere near as 'chav' as some of the places I've been recently!

Mosquito - I didn't think it was funny at all to be honest and I'm quite happy not to take myself too seriously - I thought it was some drivel written by someone who needs to get out more!

If it didn't say Hertford on the header it could apply to any one of a hundred towns in this country.

What is Cecil Road like now? I remember when serving overseas - a contractor told me he had just bought a house in Cecil Road Hertford as a 'crash pad' whilst on leave as well as an investment. At that time it was a pretty dire place and I didn't have the heart to tell him what a mistake he'd made.

Characters such as AgentProvocateur rejoice in their ability to scribe nasty, acidic drivel. If this person lives in Hertford then they should consider living somewhere else as they have little or no affection for the town.
The only down side of this is that we have afforded them exactly what they wanted; a response. I am sure they may read these comments and sit comfortably, and lonely, in front of their screens and feel incredibly satisfied that they have engendered a response.
If their toe rag, insignificant lives are enlivened by spewing bile then good luck to them.
