Human Kindness
A bit of an upbeat story. To the guy (Tony)who found my mobile which had dropped out of my coat (note to self - idiot) on Hartham on Saturday & left it for collection at Sainsburys a big, big thank you. And there's a pint or two for you at the Barge/White Horse. (For all those would be Spartacus' out there I have his mobile number! [:D]

That's a nice thing to hear. Two years ago I lost my iPhone at Rhythms of the World - and in a crowd of thousands, a lovely couple came up to me and said 'are you Kev?'... They'd phoned the last dialled number and got my mate who told them to look for a short podgy bloke in black smoking a fag and probably wearing a cowboy hat. They spent ages searching so they could give my phone back and I was so astonished I forgot to ask who they were so I could thanks them properly.
It's great when one's faith in people is recharged.

I lost mine in a very dark nightclub in Whitby once. The next day the B&B owners passed me a message that the person who had my phone called the last dialled number and my friend told them where I was staying! As I waslked back towards the nightclub the following morning a car pulled up and said "Are you SallyB?" and said that my phone was at the nightclub. I didn't even know them, they were just passing along the message!
What lovely and genuine people there are in this world.
