Sky TV box - scam?
Just had a phone call from a gentleman with a strong accent saying he wanted to talk about our Sky TV box.
As we don't have one it would be difficult but just in case it is a scam like the computer one wanted to warn anyone who does have a box to be aware

it's just a company trying to sell extended warranties for sky boxes AFAIK. However, anybody who actually pays for an extended warranty is pretty foolish in my books. You can buy a brand-new SKY+HD box from ebay for less that the cost of the warranty!

My wife was called by these people this afternoon, As soon as she said we had not got sky he hung up.

I just got the call. They asked for a Mrs Serdet [?] who sadly wasn't at home.
I managed to spin it around which was fun;
It's a marketing company on behalf of Sky called Ipsos Mori (Mori Poll they used to be called) - Edinburgh based - Telephone 0131 467 6666.
If you get the call, and can be bothered, just ask for Kisha Bashoo, one of the supervisors or his manager Wayne Gilbert. Ask to be taken off their telephone mailing list.
They wanted to take a survey - 15 minutes and no longer. They just want to gain information and I just redirected them to another chippy.
