At the begining of 1960 & working for GEC Birmingham I was based on Hertford East Station to commission new 25kv rolling stock which was to enter service on November 21st of that year.Subserquently due to many teething troubles I was unable to complete that contract until mid 1961. As I am now compiling a history of the area I would appreciate any photographs or reports relating to the railway during that period.[:)]
