I am wondering if the kind soul who "rescued" our dog in Watermill Lane yesterday morning is a Forum contributor (or does anyone know them) so I can at least thank them? I collected "Virgil Hilts" (as he will henceforth be known) from the police station soon afterwards and, quite rightly, got right a ticking off as he had no ID on his collar at the time![V] The errant pooch appears to be very happy to be back home and none the worse for wear. As a male dog he will, of course, maintain that he was never "lost" at all! Thank you - whoever you are?[:D]
