All, Sad to report than Jan, wife of Ron Barnes, has passed away this week. Ron and Jan ran a very happy Millstream pub in Port Vale, Bengeo from circa 1990 to 2002 and built a fantastic community pub around them. Jan will be very much missed by LW and his friend who while in their ****less 20's were kept in order by the formidable Mrs Barnes during that time[:)] I don't know any other details, but will post more if I hear anything.
