Theatre runs out of beer
I went to see the Counterfeit Stones band at the castle theatre on Friday and was surprised that after just having 2 drinks during the show that the bar ran out of beer, so I had to drink fizzy water (eherrrrh!
Surely the know how many tickets are sold for the event and that at least half would be men and would therefore be drinking beer, so I find it strange they don't have any stock of beers in reverse as it was only selling bottled beer, which doesn't go off like having barrels.

Although I am surprised as the number of people that came into the Old X Tavern after the show seemed fairly well inebriated. I go to a few of the Corn Exchange shows and they don't seem to have a problem there - plenty of draught beers including Guinness and I've not seen them run out.

You should see the comment on Leisure & Entertainment by Muddy. Best thing to do is complain to Hertford Theatre, as much as this gets it off your chest, they need to be made to get their act together. I am sorry to hear of your problems, but relieved that this doesn't just happen to local amateur drama groups who hire the venue out for an extortianate rate!!!
