My partner has just arrived home and says it's news to him. He is disappointed they didn't publish the story about the ducks at Bayford duck pond playing chicken across the road yesterday.[:D]

Ducks do that, especially in mating season - go to Ware and look outside Glaxo - I've seen car's queing to the High Street because the Ducks would not move - Duck's are my favorite creatures, I could not eat one

For me it's a sure sign of warmer weather on the way when the ducks by us start behaving oddly. They go for walks along the road turn up in the strangest of places like roof tops. Last week even the swan joined and went for a walk down the road.

Excellent, wish I'd been there. I live buy the river and can spend hours watching their odd behaviour, just wish I had a house with a big pond [8D]

im sure you will find a house with a garden big enough to build a pond and i'm sure you could drum up a few volunteers on this site to help you build one.....then when ever we find ducks acting odd we know where to take them!!! some stories are news the cat one-NO!![:(] one about a mother duck with her ducklings causing a half mile tail back as she takes them for a morning stroll during peak hour YES[:D]
