horticultural club
Does anyone know of a horticultural club, gardeners club or the like where people get together to swap plants, knowledge, equipment and so on? I'm a really keen gardener, not able to manage an allotment as I work full time in central London and would like to meet other like-minded souls in Hertford/Bengeo area.

The only one I know of is Bengeo Cottage Garden Club. They have 2 shows a year, various outings and talks etc but not aware of any plant or equipment swaps.
I can look up who you contact to join, we could do with some new younger blood.
Another thought it to speack to someone working on the Allotments by Bengeo School they may know of a group.
