That's the second buggy I have heard about that has been stolen this week. One was stolen from aa families front door on Sunday. Hope it is found

That is really awful to hear as we go off and leave our buggy all the time when we are playing in that park. It would be good if you could find a picture of it on the net and post it on here. If it is distinct it will eventually be spotted in Hertford (if they keep it here!). You could also pop this message on mumsnet.

People are just so sick. I guess the sadness is these buggys are really expensive and I guess some scallys think they can make a fast buck. Would it be a daft idea to have some some of bike chain to with you to chain the buggy to railings? I know you can collapse the things but if it was fixed to something that might deter and also you may notice someone/people trying to take it and not managing it. I hope you get them back, but sadly I fear this might not happen.. I guess also look out for women, nobody would suspect a woman of taking a buggy would they?????

That is a very good idea. It doesn't need to be chained to anything, just a simple chain to stop 1 wheel rotating or some kind of integral locking mechanism is all that would be needed. No one is going to try to carry a buggy away.
