Hertingfordbury Allotment Association

Hi, a bit late now, but there was a meeting last night to setup a kind of residents association for the hertingfordbury allotments - due to the lack of support in any matters from the council. Sadly i was unable to attend! Did anyone go? Any news? Keep an eye on the noticeboard for details! Dan

I am a plotholder at Hertingfordbury and not sure this was about lack of Council support!? I think it was more to do with theft and doing more for ourselves, if I read the notice right. And I thought the meeting was this Sunday?

Would have thought that we would get to elect the Chair if we are having an association! [:)] I would be happy to support this but would be interested to know what the benefits are. Site is pretty well maintained really compared to some.

just to be clear; This isnt to replace the council. This is in addition. So the association will arrange additional facilities above and beyond the little that the council does.
