Power Cuts
Our electricity supply went off briefly at about at 4.15 this morning. I was woken by the sound of various domestic appliances beeping as they re-started themselves. Just as I finished re-setting the alarm clock, central heating, and various other things that were making strange noises it happened again.
This seems to happen at fairly often - usually it goes off and comes back straight away although sometimes it can be longer.
Does anyone else experience these power cuts - or is it just my house ?

I heard that Sele Farm had some outages during the night

I'm close to Sele Farm, so it was probably related to that.

Indeed Sele Farm did have one last night - It reset the clock on my oven, powered on my PC, brought the TV out of standby (it had been on timer to turn off).
Not as bad as the flickering power on/off/on/off/on/off/on that we had last year.
Incidentally the actual electricity supplier (not the middleman that you pay the bill to) is EDF energy (i think it stands for Energie De France - might explain something [}:)]) so they are the people to complain to.
