Lost Cat in Bengeo
Has anyone recently lost a young grey tabby in the Bengeo area?
There has been one hanging around the Holy Trinity churchyard, at the end nearest the garages and flats in Mansfield Gardens, since (about) Wednesday. It is there more often that not, at all times of the day and night, and it seems to be lost. It's only young, I'd say about six months old and the other cats that visit the churchyard have been picking on it. It doesn't have a collar.
I tried to get it to come to me last night (11:30ish) but it was too nervous. It may well be that it is let out a lot or has access to a cat flap and likes to explore, but I thought I'd post this just in case anyone is missing it.

Hi Lemonjelly,
This sounds like our cat Charlie but she is not lost. We are next to the White Lion so this sounds like our cat. She's been outdoors from around February time.
We've seen her every day so I guess she just ventures over the road sometimes.
We have a cat flap so she's in and out as she pleases. She also has a sister (same age but slightly smaller tortoise shell) but not sure if she ventures over the road.
Thanks for looking out for her!
ps. They are both chipped.

I'm not sure that this one is your cat, as I watched it yesterday go into one of the flats with a couple I presumed to be its owners. It was pleased to see them and they held the door open for it, so its obviously doing okay and isn't distressed, it just like to meeow a lot - probably saying 'Hello' to everything it sees.

Ok thanks. She hasn't got much of a meeow so I guess it's not her.
