The door was open today as fittings and other equipment was carried in and I saw clothing on the rails...........it was not along the same lines as Coles though.

I was told that the Home and Garden had to move into the old Coles shop in the first place as their original shop was being sold. I have since been told it was brought at auction by a French couple for their daughter to make it into a Hairdressers. It appears that having paid £260k for the premises that the daughter took one look at it and said she didn’t like it! Don’t know what will happen to it now. Couldn’t someone turn it into a nail bar or coffee shop?[:D]

Was wondering when this thread might arise. With good reason, as, I happen to have (innocently, I hasten to add) overheard some idle chat (from a well placed source), that it was destined to complete the trio of Hertfords large, corporate, coffee shops.

A planning application has been registered for a new shopfront at the old Coles shop. The applicant is "Gerry's Offshore Incorportations Limited", whose registered address happens to be the same as a branch of Costa Coffee in Maidenhead

lol how bizarre! i didnt realise you could make so much running a coffee shop that it was worth offshoring! hehe
