I feel sorry (well sort of) for those poor people who paid good money to train to be HIPS surveyors (or whatever they are called).

I would have thought people might dip their toe in the water now they don't have to pay £300.
they might be surprised at the offer and move, hopefully getting the housing market moving more.

Ha! I'd love to overprice it but honestly we're putting it on at a price that we think is right.
I did view a house weekend just gone that was overpriced I have to say but in someone else's eyes it wasn't and ended up selling for way over the original asking price...
Hertford is a tough place to buy a property and I'm about to find out again.....

You'll still need to get an energy performance certificate though, so the saving may not be as much as £300. When you consider the cost of selling a property and moving, I don't it will make that much difference IMHO.
