PM = Private Message/Mail. The forum software allows you to send an email through the system to another member. It's something you can turn on/off in your profile.

Admin did you get my email ???? I don't want to post it here as it could fall into the wrong hands. Now if you read my email and you think it would be ok to post on here? then please do as I don't want the responsibility. This link could show every website owner there address and phone number. Now if you have site like me and I posted something like I was going away for 2 weeks and some people knew about this site ? they could have come around to my house and broken in or if you upset someone they could come round and do something ??? If you own your own web site and registered under your home address BEWARE.This is not a scam in anyway which I am sure if admin see his email he will tell you it's not? This info is not for the general public only for people with a web site. Only trying to help ???????

Thanks Steve,yes that's the one. I and many other forum owners never knew about this.Glad to say we now have all change our home address and number.NO-ONE told us it would be seen by the public.I bet many people on here with there own web site never knew this either. What has this got to do with Hertford ?? well don't people in Hertford have a web site then ?? God I am only trying to help. Admin please remove my account can't be bothered

Actually, anyone who knows anything about the internet knows about whois. It's also possible on registration to request your details are hidden, which a lot of people do. Most registrars support this.
