WANTED (to borrow): long thin roof box
Hi all,
Does anyone have a long thin (1/2 car width) roof box that they'd consider lending out for 1 week at the end of May?
I know I can buy them but I only need it the one week and I don't have space to store it afterwards. I've also looked into hiring them but that's just as expensive as buying one.
I live on the Ware Road in Hertford and would be willing to give a cash deposit as security for any unforseen damage. Also more than happy to meet up at some point so you can see I'm a stand-up chap as it were. In return I can offer lots of home reared eggs, home grown Rhubarb, plus 3 wheelbarrows of seasoned wood logs. An odd mix I know, but I want to offer something in return for the favour!

not quite sell free range eggs, more like give them away. Got 3 chickens that live in a large open air pen and have the run of the garden for 3 days a week. Poor girls don't lay enough to sell so we end up giving away small quantities to friends/neighbours. Hence why eggs are part of the barter deal!

Hi Matt,
I can't help with the roof box.. but I noticed that you may have some extra free range eggs?
I run my own cupcake business in Hertford and I am getting busier and busier. If you do have some extra each week I would be willing to buy them or give you cupcakes in return. I currently get my eggs from a nearby village but it would be great to find someone nearer.

Yes I have one you're welcome to borrow, subject to reference approval...! It's a Halfords streamline one that fits around 1/2 to 2/3 width.
I assume your're after it the Whitsun weekend end May early June.
Regarding return, I could certainly use the wood & eggs, on the rhubarb I have too much of my own...
