Following a major disk failure on Tuesday morning we have had to migrate Discover Hertford Online to a new server. Regretably, the last good backup we have of the forum is dated 17th January. This means that all posts made between 17th January and 2nd February have been lost (16 days). We have kept the forum closed whilst trying to recover the lost posts but that has sadly not been possible. We have therefore made the decision to re-open the forum using the 17th January backup. Some of you may have noticed that the forum spontaneously re-opened itself before we closed it again. We apologise if this misled anyone into thinking that normal service had been restored. However, the forum is now fully open again. Please note that if you have a shortcut for the forum, the new URL is www.hertford.net/yoursay. We have taken the opportunity to remove the "1" from the address. In migrating the site, we have yet to test all the features so you may come across the odd glitch. We know the contact forms don't work at the moment and these will be recoded shortly. Private mailing from the forum hasn't been tested yet.
