Ironing
Does anyone know of an ironing service that comes to your house and irons at your house using your iron etc ?
Failing that who is the best collection and delivery service ?

I could be wrong but I think that Ironing services use professional steam irons and presses to do the work. These produce much better results and much faster than can be achieved with a domestic iron and this speed allows them to work much faster and to have a higher throughput of work while keeping their prices reasonable.

There are 2 local firms I know of not used either of them but both been going a while so I would think they must be OK

Hi,
We are wanting to use a local collect and deliver ironing service and just wondered if you had any luck with either of these recommendations. If not is there a service anyone can recommend?

I going to cave in admit that I cannot keep up with the ironing. I spend the whole week trying anything to avoid it so have decided I will pay someone else to do it. Any current recommendations or shall I try Irons on the High Street?

Despite the sound of tumbleweed flowing through this thread, I will have another stab at it.
Whilst on a long walk home last night (the lightening affecting the trains and the bus driver just driving past - AAARRGGGHHH, will have words with Arriva), I saw a van for blazing irons go past. Does anyone use them? Any comments? What about Irons in the high street?

A year on and I thought I would update. I did go with Blazing Irons and the service is amazing. All items except jeans and vest tops are on hangers and then goups of items covered with plastic to keep them looking good.
The business sold to someone else recently who has kept up the same level of very friendly professional end efficent service. And good value too.
Very happy
