White Horse Hertingfordbury
I can't see any postings about the restaurant here. Has anyone visited recently? I'm interested in comments as I'm thinking of booking a group meal there in January. Thanks for any comments!

We had our wedding reception here in the summer and it was really lovely. Great food and service and happy to call taxis to get everyone home. Interested to see if its just as nice for a small group.

Thanks Tiny. Well it was ok when we last went there but that was about three years ago and things can easily change. Some of my fellow diners will be travelling a fair way and I particularly don't want to disappoint them.

Just to follow up on this one, we decided to go ahead and eat at the White Horse. Overall the food was fairly good, but the service was really patchy. We waited far too long to be allowed at our table, and there was general disorganisation.

The place is mediocre at best.... Its only redeeming feature is the garden at summertime for a BLT and a pint.
