I guess it depends if the shop can survive based on weekend traffic? because for sure, the town definately needs more coffee shops at the weekend. So the answer probably is - at least one more.

Marmalade will probably get change of use, as this area is considered 'secondary retail' on the local plan. So long as under 60% of the units in your row are non-food then they can't really turn you down [:)]

I don't know what I feel about yet another cafe.. Its no good just having eating places if you have nothing else to buy in the town! I like coffee, a lot, but I cannot sit in all cafes all day long.. Now what we really need is another hairdressers !!! [:D]

Just serve quality food at sensible prices with simple good service, cant be hard, depite Cafe Rouge finding it impossible.
