Christmas Competition in St.Andrew Street!
Thirty-one businesses in St.Andrew Street are taking part in a 'Spot the Stranger' competition.
Each participating shop will have something in their window that doesn't belong there.
The winning entry will receive a Sunday Lunch for four people at The Merchant House.
Entry Forms are now available in the shops. Closing date December 19th.[:)]

Well family P had a great time finding all the strangers in the windows. some of them were well hidden!

A large number of people enjoyed the challenge yesterday, which was good to see. We still have some entry forms at HG if anyone still wants to take part - it's an excellent prize!

We've been trying to do this since the weekend as we were busy when the competition started, but it seems some shops have taken the strangers out of the windows. We managed to get some of them by asking in the shops, but cannot seem to see anything in the Merchant House or Paddyfields windows. Would I be correct in thinking the stranger has gone or are they just well hidden.

Apologies. We have spoken to the Merchant House, and the 'stranger' will reappear. We will speak to Paddyfields later..[:)]

Jackieg the Paddyfield item was a sparkly hairgrip and the Merchant house was plastic paper clip.

I believe the original stranger in the Paddyfields window was the Christmas decorations. When it was pointed out that most of the shops had Christmas decorations they said that it was strange for them as they don't usually have decorations. [:D]
