We went to the society coffee morning in the Mill Bridge Rooms on Saturday. All that was there was, an unmanned stand on the Scouts, The Cats' Protection League, The British Legion, St. John's Ambulance and some other orgnaisation that I didn't understand the name of! I'm not sure what we were expecting except to say that we spent a slightly embarrased minute there, entered the St. John's raffle and left. I know these things are all run on the goodwill of volunteers so you can't really complain that there weren't more relevent (to you) things but it did seem a little lacking. I assume this showcase was offered to all local societies?
