School Theft
Okay, so it's not Hertford. But it's close enough for Hertford residents to possibly be able to help.
Chauncy school in Ware had a number of computers stolen and the Head Teacher has posted CCTV footage of those responsible on their web site. I sincerely hope those responsible are caught.....

Fifteen computers have now been stolen from Sele as well. They were taken during the evening of 22nd September. Co-incidence?

Hmm, reading the Mercury it appears that the possible perpertrators or one has gone to ground... There's a surprise and that the Police were "looking into it"... I'd say look, and DO a little harder thanks and stop filling in your computer sheets ticking the number of motorists you get and start getting the criminals who are making quite a lot of our schoolchildren's lives miserable with the loss of work etc, etc from the theft of the laptops..

I think the police need to stop checking bus tickets and catching fare dodgers which is petty crime (or a misdemeanor in other countries) and get off their backsides and do something useful and as you say, look a bit harder into this, and perhaps do something about thursday nights in Cowbridge.

Apparently the culprit has been arrested and already pleaded guilty to the theft from Chauncy school.

No doubt to be let out on bail and then if he
doesnt do a runner he will be given a suspended/ASBO/Community order/telling off and then will no doubt offend again very shortly...
Its on video tape so if we cant hang him can we at least give him the cat o' nine tails ?
