No, John Cook, Sele Ward is right. Castle Ward is Sasha Bright, Chantal Geall, Dorothy Hone and Jane Sartin.

can anyone apply to do this councillor lark? It's about time there was a bit of youth on the Council (if you can call 36 youth!!). I'd happily give up my job to represent the views of the people, seeing as none of the existing old fuddy-duddies listen. Such as pay on exit parking! Is there a financial outlay up front to be an independent candidate (seeing as I'm not a paid-up member of any party)

Hi Steve over the last few years some councillors have been applying for planning permission and getting it passed while other local people are being refused on the smallest bits of planning permission, one councillor applied to have a barn turned into a residence even though bats were living there, I admit he got permission to move said bats but I wonder how much profit he has made on this? Another councillor who just happened to own a very large garden centre over near the Essex border applied for planning permission to build an entire housing estate even though residents opposed it and he must have made millions overnight with this piece of planning permision, am I the only one who can see a pattern here?

Hi James for me to be specific may offend said councillors and not a good idea to name them on here, I suggest you read some back copys of the Mercury.
