Any Greek recommendations
Does anyone have any recommendations for a really good, Greek or Cypriot restaurant within a 10 mile radius of Hertford?
I used to go to the Abbey taverna at Waltham Abbey but that was many years ago.
We have a special birthday celebration coming up and would like somewhere that comes well recommended!

There is one in Ware at the end of the High Street. Can't remember the name sorry. Frau F. likes it....I am 50-50 on it.

Carlos I'm pretty fussy about my greek food, I do like it to be authentic, so 50/50 doesn't sound too good...can you tell me what you didn't like?[:)]

First I should say I'm not a great fan of Greek food so that would colour my judgement. The dishes I have had there have always been fine but just something about the place doesn't work for me. Sorry I can't be more specific.

We love Greek food and think it is very authentic there. However, I think the ambience is a little contrived...plastic plants and Greek muzak, not quite the little taverna down a tiny cobbled village street in Greece. Saying that we find it quite endearing and have always throughly enjoyed ourselves there. Highly recommend the kleftico [:)]
